Resistances guide How reistances work Stacked resist

In normal mode your basic starting resist is 0 for all resistances. In nightmare it is -60 and hell its -100.

With Gear you can increase resistances the cap is 75 with out max resist items(Guardian angel Water Walks, Thunder Gods, Exile, Dragon etc.)

With increase max resistance you can cap it at 95 nothing more. With Guardian Angel is gonna increase maximum resistances by 15% thats not gonna actually add any resistances it just increase the maximum amount of resistances you are allowed to have from 75 to 95.

**Max resist dont increase your resistances just increase the Max your allowed to have. Cap is 95% you cannot go above 95% no matter how much max res gear you have.

You can actually calculate your resistance. If you are in hell difficulty and your resistances are 75 and in a unique item color it means you have more than 175 resistances due to the difficulty level this is STACKED RESIST.

Stacked resist
Works when your resistance are lowered to a certain amount if a cold sorceress with cold mastery lowers your resistances by 150% if you have 75% resist in hell you have around 25-50 resist. Which you will take half the cold damage.
Stacked Resist is any amount above the amount shown in your characters resistances Stacked resistances is resistances over the limit (75) normally without any Max resist gear on. You are allowed to have any amount of resist in a duel pk there is no limit to the stacking of resistances.

How Absorb works if you use a raven frost ring which absorbs 20% cold damage and add 20% of the cold damage to your current life.

Anya Scrolls which increase your resistance 10% in every difficulty in total 30% if you do all 3 difficulty quests. How ever when you die in PVP or PVM the 30% is voided. You have to join a new game to get the 30% back.

Calculating Resistance(Manually)
*Add all the resistance you have
*Subtract 100 from the difficulty you are in
*Add 30 from the Anya Scrolls
